The match ended in a 2-2 draw. Well this is the first time in Sudan a women's football game is organised and this is proof that there is an improvement in the country, as something like this has never happened. And I hope that Sudan will always support women's football and sports, said Abyssinian football player Ikram Abdelkarim Noumbada. Sudan is currently being administered by a transitional government of military leaders and a civilian sovereign council who agreed on a power sharing deal to rule for 39 months after Omar Al-Bashir was ousted in a coup on April 11.
