Some channels use codecs your browser can't decode. If a channel has audio but the picture stays black, that's the cause.

For the widest channel support in a browser, try Firefox on desktop or mobile.

• Codec support: Chrome can't decode HEVC/H.265 in many cases — fallback is audio-only.
• VOD: some on-demand titles aren't browser-playable.
• Autoplay policies: most browsers require a tap before playback.
